To celebrate the completion of the boys’ bed chamber, the FOT is hosting a free public talk with Dr. Sandy Slater, associate professor of history and director of the Carolina Lowcountry and the Atlantic World Program, College of Charleston. Dr. Slater will speak about masculinity in the region during the 
early 19th century.
